Senior Material Engineer
Key responsibilities include:
1. Following laws and regulations, being a role model and helping others perform in order to reach the targets as a team.
2. Conceive, implement, and protect novel battery and separator concepts for vanadium-ion and zinc-ion chemistries.
3.
Design and develop single cells and separators, aligning separator properties with target cell performance.
4.
Build and iterate on hands-on prototypes to validate designs and materials.
5.
Analyze and optimize cell manufacturing processes, including materials selection and equipment parameters.
6.
Create new test protocols and procedures to characterize separator and cell properties; evaluate new separator candidates.
7.
Anticipate and mitigate potential issues in cell components affecting battery applications (DFMEA mindset).
8.
Work closely with academic and industrial partners to accelerate development and validation. The above is not an exhaustive list of all duties, and the Company may request the Employee to perform other or additional duties as needed from time to time (subject to this Agreement).
