Assignment Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist to support operational buyers in minimizing the impact of late deliveries due to current market challenges. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production continuity by following up on critical material deliveries, expediting late shipments, and aligning supply timelines with production needs.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively follow up on at-risk and delayed deliveries to ensure production is not disrupted.
Act as a liaison between buyers and production teams to align material deliveries with manufacturing schedules.
Support the implementation and adherence to SCM Council-approved procedures and activities.
Contribute to local sourcing strategies to meet business goals, while supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives.
For GBS centers: manage assigned sourcing tasks, including e-sourcing activities.
Requirements
Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, as daily interactions with both local and international suppliers are required (via phone and email).
A sense of urgency and clarity in communication is essential.
Ability to collaborate across teams to identify and implement supply solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
While travel is not a primary expectation, occasional business trips may be required.
This is a hands-on, fast-moving role suited for someone who is organized, solutions-focused, and ready to make an immediate impact.
