Procurement Manager for a client in Stockholm

One of our global tech clients is currently seeking a Procurement Manager. In this role as the Procurement Manager, you will collaborate with the business/contract owner throughout the procurement process as a member of the Procurement team.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to contract owners throughout the procurement and outsourcing process.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive results by utilizing methods such as competitive bidding, negotiation, and data and market trend analysis.
- Negotiate contractual terms, conditions, and prices in all markets our client operates in or plans to enter.
- Assist contract owners in identifying supplier risks and suggest appropriate measures to mitigate them.
- Aid contract owners in addressing compliance regulations when onboarding new suppliers or working with existing ones.
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance the procurement process and its supporting materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related issues, supporting negotiations in existing and new markets, and contributing to business enablement.
The consultant must possess the following requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience working in a regulated environment or the financial services industry, as well as experience in a technology company, e-commerce, or cloud provider
- Proficient in navigating and comprehending commercial agreements
- Demonstrated track record of successfully establishing credibility, respect, and trust with both teams and executive leadership in a complex global environment
- Skilled in interpreting and applying legal requirements to develop compliance strategies, structures, and processes.
- Capable of designing mechanisms and metrics to monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, and cost
- Certification from CIPS, ISM, APICS, or an equivalent organization
- Direct experience with financial services regulated by the European Banking Association and the Swedish Financial Services Authority (SFSA), with additional experience in regulatory outsourcing being a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with knowledge of Swedish considered an advantage
