IT Solution Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Solution Consultant IT for SAP Ariba Buying you will be responsible for delivering SAP Ariba Buying solutions to support our business processes and requirements. • Maximize the business value and vision of the SAP Ariba Buying solution
• Lead in delivering the identified solution
• Implement integrations between SAP Ariba and the Volvo IT landscape
• Provide functional expertise in configuring the identified business processes according to best practices
• Define functional requirements for required integrations or specific solution developments
• Capture business needs and lead the requirement management process, investigation and coordination in pre-studies, projects and programs
• Evaluating and recommending solutions/ way forward /options
• Ensure applicable IT security directive is followed for the service
• Act as a domain expert
• Facilitate global workshops cross site
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
In this position, you will be part of the Core Platform Area Purchasing team and report to a Digital Product Area Owner. To be successful in your new role we want you to have the following knowledge/experience:
• Techno-Functional Ariba Sr. Consultant with extensive knowledge and experience (8+ relevant years) in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing incl. Ariba Network with catalogue enablement and Guided Buying along with technical expertise in integration products such as CIG, CI, Ariba Network and SAP Ariba API’s
• Experience with rolling out SAP Ariba in a large and complex organization
• Some experience with SAP S4/Hana or other ERP systems integration
• Some experience with Supplier Onboarding and Catalogue Enablement
• General knowledge and expertise in other SAP products
• Ability to experiment with system behavior and configuration to support customer decisions
• Fast learner and recognized expert with ability to promote the benefits of the solution
• Able to perceive and focused on the holistic perspective, encompassing a whole landscape, rather than only on the application
• Communicative, comfortable with stakeholder management
• Keen to learn and to teach, able to coach and be coached by team members
• Open to dialogue, willing to discuss ideas and counterpoints
• Questioning, argumentative, but flexible and willing to adapt
• Team Player, enjoys working with a team and collaborating
• University/Master’s degree in informatics or equivalent
