About this opportunity
We are looking for an IP Portfolio Manager to join Ericsson's ASIC IP organization, a growing world-class semiconductor development group driving excellence in our 5G network products and beyond. The ASIC IP organization develops various functional blocks and subsystems that are integrated into Ericsson’s networking ASICs. Our IP PMO organization is responsible for planning, tracking progress, and driving execution of IP development, which are building blocks for multiple ASICs.
Our IP Portfolio Manager (part of IP Operations & Analytics) will partner with IP PMO to provide organizational visibility of IP deliveries across ALL IP Programs and IP Departments. The outputs of from this role will be key in enabling leadership to quickly identify critical paths, prioritize resources, enable synergies, and recognize risks and opportunities.
What you will do
• Creating ASIC IP Delivery Plans (F2 Assessments) for the IP organization, which collate plans from all IP Programs
• Assembling tracking metrics from all IP Program Managers within the organization
• Generating Holistic Reports that provide a bird’s eye view of IP execution and progress across all IP Programs
• Utilizing a variety of internal and external tools to create and evolve interactive reporting dashboards
• Employing data analytics to recognize trends, risks, opportunities, and synergies
• Collaborating closely with IP PMO to align on communication and messaging
• Engaging with stakeholders outside of IP Sector to ensure understanding of Holistic Reports
• Partnering with Capability Managers to ensure ASIC IP project staffing and organization capability is harmonized
• Serving as a key contributor in shaping strategic operational direction

The skills you bring
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, data analytics, or business
• Solid end-to-end understanding of the ASIC development life cycle
• Experience in technical or operational roles in the telecommunication and/or semiconductor industries
• Project management experience
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
• Effective presentation skills, with the ability to adapt communication for varying stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Passionate about data-driven insights
• Natural inclination for both strategic and tactical planning, with the ability to turn strategy into tangible results
You may also have:
• Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP)
• Experience in design or verification of IP, ASICs or SoCs
• Experience with JIRA, PowerBI and Python
• Experience (or strong desire) to work with data analytics
