About this opportunity:
Technology leadership is at the centre of the Ericsson Network strategy. As Head of PAN Portfolio Platform SW - 6G you will be leading Ericsson into the future of Networks. Our unit plays a pivotal role in defining the PAN portfolio strategy and driving cross-PAN product initiatives and ensuring optimal resource allocation. With a focus on technology management and foresight, we connect with research and future technology work, taking charge of long-term product evolution. The unit is budget responsible for the early prototype work & standardization that is done within the System & Technology Unit. The Unit manage PAN operations, including tools, workflows, and directives, and is at the forefront of digitalizing the product business flow. We are crafting the 6G strategy, product definition, and development, while maintaining customer commitments. The unit is also an important link to look at cross-portfolio commercial structure together with the sales and commercial team.
What you will do:
As the Head of PAN Portfolio Platform SW - 6G, you will lead a team responsible for driving product management functions of network products. You will be instrumental in maintaining technology leadership, balancing portfolio investment, and driving technology evolution through collaboration with our system & technology unit and Ericsson Research. You will also oversee operational improvements within the unit and with other stakeholders, guiding leading a team of leaders and individual contributors.
• Drive strategy and technology leadership within our portfolio
• Balance portfolio investments and optimize resource allocation
• Enhance operational workflows and interface with stakeholders
• Support the commercial strategy of the Portfolio
• Lead and develop a group of senior leaders and senior individual contributors
• Attract and develop new talents for a strong pipeline to other MA/BA jobs
• Work effectively with the other product lines within PAN, work effectively with develop the PAN to EU interface
This senior leadership role requires a broad responsibility across the portfolio, with significant interaction with stakeholders such as research, development units, and senior executives both within and outside the company.
The skills you bring:
• Proven expertise in Product Management
• Deep understanding of the BNEW portfolio. Background in R&D, RAN project/program management, KAM CTO office.
• Strong Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen
• Ability to interface effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Track record of achieving strategic and technological success
• Excellent knowledge of the global telecom market and its transformation, especially RAN aspects.
• Exceptional Leadership Skills, particularly in leading leaders
