As Product Support Manager you will provide aftermarket support for subsidiaries, international distributors, dealers & OEM partners as well as investigating and driving product quality improvements.. You will be the first line of contact towards the market and act between the various stakeholders/departments within the organization. 

Main tasks and responsibilities
Your key responsibility as the Product Support Manager (*and member of an international Product Support team) is to provide technical support on forklift trucks to the aftermarket organizations in response to questions regarding the products and services. Predominantly you will act as second line support since most markets have their own first line support set up.

You will also conduct warranty assessment and secure that warranty claims contain correct and sufficient information as well as requesting parts back for investigation to understand problems, make quality investigation and for return to the suppliers.

You will contribute to increase the customer satisfaction and reduce warranty costs by collecting, understanding and help reproduce field issues together with other departments as well as driving improvements. Additionally you will develop and provide technical service training in the principle of train the trainer and provide service information to the market. You will have approximately 30 travel days per year.

In due time we believe you will be the aftermarket expert for one or more models and follow that/those models from an aftermarket perspective (technical and commercial). You will also participate in product development projects with the purpose  of making all new products and components less costly to maintain, through e.g. working with the Product Managers and give aftermarket related input.

Your skills and experience
You have a technical education in electric, hydraulic and/or mechanical engineering and you are fluent in English, both spoken & written.

We believe you have experience from technical support and product quality work, preferably in the material handling or in the machinery industry 

Your profile
You are used to take responsibility for your tasks by structuring your own approach and moving the work forward. Planning, organizing and prioritizing work efficiently is natural to you and time frames are easy to set up and keeping them are important to you.

You enjoy working with people and have the ability to relate to others in a responsive and smooth way by listening, communicating and solving conflicts in a constructive manner. You also have a genuine interest, will and ability to help others and make an effort to deliver solutions. 

If needed you make accurate judgments and priorities by combining complex information and different types of considerations and displays good judgment in statements, actions and decisions.
