Global Sub-Category Lead
The Sub-Category Leader is responsible for the sourcing and supply management for a sub-category within the Electrification Category consisting of multiple business units globally. The Sub-Category Leader will drive the Sub-Category strategy and translate business strategy into an aligned strategy, incorporating the Kalmar, Operations, and Sourcing strategy into the Sub-Category strategy.
This will be part of your responsibility:
• Leading new thinking and approaches to Sub-Category vision that delivers continual growth, customer satisfaction, return on investment and solutions for customers, divisions and suppliers.
• Providing insight on how to best develop and leverage Supplier capabilities for the organization.
• Primary point of contact for overall Sub-Category needs. Responsible for prioritizing demand globally across the Sub-Category.
• Working closely with key stakeholders in Operations, Divisions, R&D, Sales, and Finance to gather key input to develop key cost reduction.
• Deploying resources wisely, timely and creatively.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Communicate Sub-Category vision and strategy to key stakeholders.
• Drive collaboration with strategic suppliers in order to drive disruptive technology, sustainability, cost down initiative, assure quality and delivery on time.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering
• Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and/or Supply Management.
• Strong Negotiation and relationship building skills
• Strong presentation and writing skills
• Experience in working with global teams.
• Experience with Electrification Sub-Category Strategy development and implementation is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships while remaining focused on the key deliverables.
