Within Scania Connectivity at Scania R&D, we are looking for you who like to lead the group, Connected Configuration, as the current manager is moving to another position inside Scania.
The group consists of one team, Core Entities and is responsible for the core configuration functionalities such as Service activation, driver registration and vehicle registration. The group has many customer interfaces and is a critical integration point.
The team consists of software engineers who specialize in backend microservices. The team utilizes .NET, along with a suite of services from Amazon Web Services (AWS) like DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis, SQS and SNS.
Assignments
You will be responsible for the Core Entities group with the following areas of responsibility:
• Strategic overview of the deliverable functionalities together with the product owner.
• Creating and maintaining sustainable and productive teams.
• Personnel responsibility.
You will work closely with the other managers within Connected Systems with strategic planning and organization development and have an important role in driving, developing and contributing with your experience to the entire section.
Your profile
You are a natural proven leader and collaborator with strong management and leadership skills and you develop your leadership continuously. You have a lot of enthusiasm and you are eager to see the results and to see your group members grow. To succeed in this position, you need to be strong in building teams, cross-functional work, be communicative, show drive and initiative and be energized by challenges.
We are looking for a can-do mentality combined with an analytical mindset and structured way of working. An interest in the customer is important.
We think you have experience in leading software development in an industrial setup. You are experienced in agile system development, connectivity, embedded development and AWS. Knowledge about Scania and Scania´s methods and processes is meritorious
You have a graduate degree in engineering or equivalent. You communicate fluently in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing. If you don't know Swedish already, we like you to have the ambition to learn.
