Location: Södertälje, Sweden (Hybrid – 50% Onsite / 50% Remote)
Duration: 20 October 2025 – 20 April 2026 (6 months, possible extension)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced FEM Calculation Engineer to join a chassis durability team within a leading global engineering environment. This role involves advanced simulation work and close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced FEM (Finite Element Method) simulations and analyses.
Conduct structural strength, solid mechanics, and fatigue evaluations.
Carry out fluid dynamics (CFD) and mesh-related tasks.
Perform weld and bolt analysis to support product durability targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize design performance.
Contribute to quality assurance processes and technical approvals.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or equivalent.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Strong background in FEM simulations and engineering analysis.
Preferred Skills
Experience using Abaqus and Hypermesh.
Background in the heavy vehicle or automotive industry.
Hands-on experience in weld and bolt analysis.
