Engineering Director for Operational Excellence (EME)
In order to strengthen the focus on our modular system and how we work with it, two new sectors are defined within Scania R&D.
Within Modular Solutions, a new department named Operational Excellence is formed.
Initially, it will consist of the sections Test Enablers (YDS/EMES), R&D Real Estate (NLC/EMEC), and Materials Technology (YTM/EMEM).
The position
Your task will be to lead your management team and to form the department’s identity.
For several areas the department will have a cross-R&D responsibility, for example, planning and utilization of test enablers, offices, and safety.
The successful cooperation within Traton for related topics will also be important.
You will be a part of the Modular Solutions management team and report to Claes Erixon, Head of Modular Solutions.
Your profile
We believe that you are an experienced manager with a broad knowledge of R&D.
You have a good overview of our product offerings and the business as such. You are willing to work in a complex and unpredictable environment where we will change the direction along the way in order to finally end in the right solutions for our customers. Meanwhile, you have the endurance and stability to push for a direction you believe in.
You are well prepared to handle many topics in parallel and have experience working in the interface towards our other sites in the Traton group.
We believe that you are a strong leader and have a background in product development. You are most likely driven by results in both the business as well as organizational and people development. You like teamwork, high intensity, and responsibility.
