Electrical Design Engineer to Västerås

As part of a creative and dynamic team of engineers, you will work with complete train upgrades and develop and design the most optimized and functional solutions from concept to final comfort solutions for passengers. Working closely with production, you will continuously test your technical solutions in practical settings.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating functional solutions based on tender concepts in one or more projects.
- Integrating electrical sub-systems into our vehicle designs.
- Ensuring that the solutions meet all customer requirements and standards.
- Creating vehicle circuit diagrams to develop connection tables.
- Supporting mechanical design by reviewing electromechanical drawings.
You will collaborate closely with the Engineering team (Mechanical, Electrical & System Design) as well as other functions such as Procurement and Production.
Qulifications:
- Engineering degree in electrical design or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Several years of experience in technical design within a manufacturing industry, with experience in the automotive or rail sector being advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, connection tables, and technical documentation.
- Experience using tools for creating electrical circuit diagrams, such as E3.
- Willingness to learn and develop within your professional role.
- Self-driven and decisive, not afraid to make decisions.
- Good self-awareness and receptiveness to feedback.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with different functions and levels.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required. Good knowledge in the Swedish language is a big bonus.

Employment type: You will work as a consultant for 12 months with the ambition to be employed directly by the client thereafter.
