Corporate Finance is a staff function at the Volvo Group Headquarters. The department is focusing on project management and support in relation to Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) as well as similar financial projects. Corporate Finance is looking for a candidate for the position as (Director).
At Corporate Finance you will be part of a highly skilled team of professionals who work with passion and embrace change to stay ahead. You will be managing complex M&A projects, lead the project team in valuation matters and be responsible for developing our toolbox in this field together the rest of the Corporate Finance team.
Main Responsibilities:
In this position you will lead M&A transactions and similar projects. You will contribute to develop the internal capabilities in the field of measure value and manage valuations. Another responsibility is to provide sophisticated and accurate analysis as well as decision support in M&A related matters. Finally, yet importantly, you will manage external advisors, specialized in M&A, due diligence or similar.
Competencies and profile:
Relevant academic Master/MBA degree
Minimum 5-7 years of working experience from an Investment Bank, M&A advisor or similar
Project leader in M&A transactions
Structured and analytical
Extensive experience of complex valuation models
Technical/functional/language skills:
Fluent in written and spoken English
Very good ability to use M&A related software tools.
