Construction Field Supervisor
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Oversee excavation, backfilling, trenching, and underground utility works in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
Ensure proper inspections and testing are carried out before approving work progress.
Collaborate closely with the Construction Management Team to align schedules, resolve issues, and manage changes.
Monitor site logistics, materials, and equipment to avoid delays and ensure smooth execution of field operations.
Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Support quality assurance through regular checks and coordination with third-party inspectors when needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement and mentor team members on best practices.
Requirements
Formal competences:
Experience from construction projects with significant multidisciplinary complexity (e.g. lab/industrial MEP builds, EPC programs, or projects with strict safety requirements).
At least 3 years of experience in a role with similar responsibilities and challenges.
Previous experience on Swedish construction sites is an advantage.
Experience from greenfield projects is highly valued.
