What makes Category Management at SSP exciting?We are looking for a Regional Category Manager who will be responsible for creating and executing the commercial plan for a portfolio of brands in the category Freeflow, Coffee Shops & Bakery. Reporting to the Category Management Director you'll be placed at our office at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, working across the whole Nordics.We offer an exciting work environment with the possibility to work with a wide range of brands. You will be given responsibility from the first day and if you show positive results and ambition your career options at SSP are endless!Overall role:As the Category Manager you create and drive the execution of the commercial plan for the category Freeflow, Coffee Shops & Bakery. You will lead a team of two Category Executives and you will be collaborating with internal functions such as Commercial Analytics, New Product Development, Purchasing, Brand Development, Creative Design, Trade Marketing and Country Commercial Manager.Main responsibilities:Identify profitability growth and optimisation opportunities within the category.Analysis of range and forecast outcomes.Propose sales and GP-improvement activities as well as report results at commercial meetings.Preparation of marketing and product development briefs.Accountability to ensure successful implementation through operational teamsMonitor trends within Food & Beverage and competitors.Leadership and coaching - provide guidance to Category Executives.Profile:To succeed in this role you need to have a Marketing degree or equivalent work experience. You must have at least 5 years of experience of category optimisation using price, range, display and space, upselling and margin to deliver commercial results and you must have proven management background. We want you to be able to drive decision-making through analysis based on evidence and to develop ideas to drive top and bottom line. You have ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.If you have the ability to focus effort on most profitable outcome and have excellent knowledge of trends in Food & Beverage - you will fit into this role. As a person you are analytical, commercial and data-driven with exceptional attention to details. You are self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a complex changing environment.
