Capacity Manager for Eukor Car Carriers
We are looking for a Capacity Manager to assist our business operations in Stockholm covering our Trade Europe-ME/Asia.Main responsibilities and tasksTonnage managementMaintain balance and differentiation between ocean product and tonnage into the regionEnsure regular cargo forecast update and report tonnage demand to head of trade and to HQCoordinate with tonnage allocation and WWOcean for optimal vessel line upTrade managementOptimizing allocated space and make sure all vessels full without open spaceEnsure the best space utilization by frequent discussion with agents, operator, TCS, CCCCost savings by optimal port combination and find synergies with other trade to maximize revenueSecure high paying project cargo and provide space for contract cargoMonitor schedule to keep contractual commitment regarding frequency and transit timeMaking charterbase(voyage calculation) / shipping performances dataKeep good communication with agents, operator, TCS, CCC for best space utilizationSupport company budget and forecast procedure for our tradesPricing & SalesTariff managementConstantly seek for new business + spot/ inducement opportunitiesKeep the best pricing tool in accordance with market and space situationDiscuss the feasibility of project cargo with supercargo for the most competitive pricingMarketing activities where in necessaryRequired Experience, Skills and Competencies Minimum Bachelor’s degree.At least 5 years’ experience in RORO/PCTC industry.Strong understanding of RORO/PCTC vessel and cargo operation at sea & port.Strong understanding of European automotive industry and its supply chain management.Good knowledge of maritime and trade regulations pertaining to ocean transportation.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to work independently but also in a team.Strong analytical skills - you must be able to analyze numbers and a variety of factors affecting the business. You need to be able to see the bigger picture as well as be detailed orientated.Strong interpersonal skills - you must be able to work with and influence many different stakeholders from many different cultures across the business.Computer literate.Fluent written and spoken English - this is our working language.This role reports to Head of Business Operations Trade Europe-ME/Asia.
